Head of Portfolio Construction The Head of Portfolio Construction is a senior leadership role that will report to the Chief Investment Officer ("CIO") and be a key member of Cbus' investments business unit. This is a newly created role focused on building a stronger capability in portfolio management, including the setting and monitoring of investment objectives and asset allocations for Cbus' flagship Growth option. This role will have direct reports across several teams and will require providing strategic leadership to these teams, with a focus on ensuring the Fund's Growth option and other diversified options are calibrated to deliver on their objectives, including outperformance relative to CPI-based and peer-relative. In addition, the role will provide strategic oversight and input into activities across the investments business unit, while assisting the CIO and senior members of the investments team in the overall management of the Fund's investment portfolio, including the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects. You will also need; - Extensive experience in managing (and/or being involved in the portfolio construction of) a high-performing MySuper option at another fund of meaningful size. - Deep understanding of the underlying drivers of returns and risk for a broad range of asset classes. - Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to provide high level strategic input. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to distill large amounts of information to key stakeholders in a compressed form is critical. **Belong at Cbus** We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
