A federal government agency requires multiple FOI officers for 12 month labour hire contracts

**Your new company**

This agency is responsible for providing services and support to Australia's vulnerable communities. The branch is responsible for managing the relationship between the Agency & the Ministers' Office. This FOI team is responsible for ensuring the agency meets the obligations under the relevant FOI & Privacy acts. The team is seeking FOI Officers at the APS4, APS5 & APS6 level.

**Your new role**

Your new role will see you responsible for:

- Lead or assist the coordination of Freedom of Information requests made to the agency
- Undertake and drive procedures to assist in the FOI decision-making.
- Provide administrative and project support to develop systems, processes and practical tools to support FOI and PIA cases.
- Work closely with external and internal stakeholders in the FOI decision-making process.

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be successful in these contracts, you must have demonstrated experience in working in the APS and within a similar-based position. You will have great communication skills and be able to work apart of a team. You must be able to work within an office environment and have a proactive approach to work.
