We have an exciting opportunity to join our event catering team for Melbourne Cup Carinval 2024. The role is based at our production kitchen in Hawthorn (Melbourne), working casual shifts, 5/7 day roster. You will need to be available to work from 30 September - 10 November 2024 (including weekends and Public Holiday)

As part of our kitchen team your duties will include:

- Basic and varied Kitchen Duties and General Cleaning
- Ensuring food preparation areas, dish washing areas, food storage areas and waste disposal areas are clean, organised and hygienic and follow SOPs.

To succeed in this role we are looking for applicants who are able to demonstrate:
**Essential**
- Experience in a similar role in a restaurant or functions venue will be highly regarded but not essential
- Food Safety Handling and understanding safe food handling.
- A team player, with ability to adapt and change in a growing business environment, and support others to achieve individual and business targets.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding and knowledge of safe working processes and practices.
