**About the role**
As a Commissions Analyst, your role will be to effectively manage and administer channel partner commissions and commission queries for Vocus’ Channel Partner Program. You’ll be developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive measurable goals and ensure Channel Partners are paid accurately and efficiently. By utilising systems and tools, you’ll be creating strong operational processes and look for innovative solutions to increase accuracy and automation.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for calculating and answering enquiries on commissions for our Vocus Channel Partners.
- End-to-end management of monthly commission run and functionality of the commission process, plus continually monitoring to optimise and improve.
- Prepare and provide insights on monthly/quarterly commission analysis.
- Establish metrics to measure effectiveness of Vocus’ Channel Partner Program.
- Analyse and maintain data from various sources to a highly accurate standard.
- Reconciliation and reporting on commission payments; summarising and submitting data to senior management.
- Undertaking assurance activities to ensure timeliness, completeness, accuracy and integrity.
- Diagnose, resolve, and/or escalate data errors.
- Support the evaluation, design, and execution of strategic and tactical commission programs.
- Assisting in the analysis and reporting requested by the Sales Enablement team from its customers within the Vocus Enterprise Sales Team.

This role requires a high degree of problem solving, analytical thinking and attention to detail - you’ll also bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Statistics, Finance, or related discipline.
- Previous experience in a similar analytical or commissions/finance-oriented role and working with Channel Partners and programs.
- Experience in Salesforce and Business Intelligence platforms.
- Proven experience in developing and optimising processes, and knowledge of indirect sales operations.
- Understanding and exposure to Commissions constructs and operations.
- Highly developed Excel skills, including complex formulas, functions and PivotTables.
- Strong Financial and Commercial Acumen, together with effective stakeholder management.
- High attention to detail and ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
