
Forensic Liaison Officer

**About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to coordinate and deliver the provision of specialised mental health forensic clinical services and professional leadership to ensure the appropriate management of forensic/treatment support order and/or high-risk consumers across MNMH-TPCH. Contribute to the development of mental health clinicians and increase their capacity to confidently work with forensic and high-risk consumers.
About you
Demonstrate specialised clinical expertise with forensic issues related to mental health care, including risk assessment and risk management of consumers on Forensic Orders (FO), FO (Disability) and FO (Prescribed Offence).
Lead the establishment of formal partnerships and provide consultation and liaison to key stakeholders, specialist forensic services and criminal justice agencies.
Responsible for the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.
