Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre is a family owned and operated service with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. We are passionate about delivering high quality education guided by the Early Years Framework & National Quality Standards catering for children aged 10 months to 6 years to ensure that individual development is being catered for, encouraged & enhanced.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate room leader to join our wonderful team at our modern and fairly new 40 place Liverpool Centre.

**About the Role**:

- Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment
- Facilitate & lead the learning experiences for your allocated room
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
- Complete observations and portfolios for children in your allocated room
- Maintain effective communication with parents throughout the service
- Create & maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Contribute to and implement a Quality Improvement Plan
- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Sound knowledge of the NQS & EYLF
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Completed child protection training
- Food Handling Certificate and ability to obtain Food Supervisory Certificate
- Ability to lead & work as part of a cohesive and supportive team environment, nurturing authentic connections with children & families
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills and able to work with minimum supervision using own initiatives
- Experience with Assessment & Rating would be highly regarded
- Previous experience in a similar role

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 38 per week
