**Childcare Educator - Diploma or Certificate 3 Qualified**

Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre is a family owned and operated service with almost 10 years’ experience in the industry. We are passionate about delivering high quality education guided by the Early Years Framework & National Quality Standards catering for children aged 6 months to 6 years to ensure that individual development is being catered for, encouraged & enhanced.

At Smart Cookies we base our indoor & outdoor curriculum around children’s interest and family input with the theory that the environment is a third teacher. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn in a happy, safe, stimulating & inclusive environment that supports children’s agency & enhances their learning.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic educator to join our existing team in our State of the Art Liverpool location.

**About the Role**:

- Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment
- Provide physical care, assisting children with daily routines such as sleeping & meal times, ensuring a high level of health & safety standards are maintained
- Conduct observations and evaluations of children’s development
- Maintain up to date records for each child within the room
- Supervise children with their play activities
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, children & their families
- Implement and maintain the elements of the NQS and EYLF
- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive and supportive team environment, nurturing authentic connections with children & families
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
- Completed Child Protection training
- Current Working with Children Check
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision if required
- Previous experience in a similar role
