Parts Supervisor

**Location**:Perth Precinct, WA, AU
- Reporting into the Area Manager - Customer Service and Logistics, The Perth Branch Parts Supervisor is a key role responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and effective operations of the warehouse and Parts Interpreter Teams at the Perth Branch. This role ensures accurate identification, storage, production, and distribution of parts and custom hose assemblies to support internal service teams and external customers.

**Roster**: Monday - Friday, 10.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal break)

**Location**: Perth Branch, WA

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead by Example: Embody company values through daily actions, decisions, and behaviors to foster a culture of integrity and accountability
- Warehouse Operations Leadership: Oversee warehouse and parts interpreting teams, ensuring safe and efficient operations that align with business goals
- Parts Interpreting and Technical Support: Provide expert advice on parts availability, compatibility, and alternatives while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and customers
- Hose Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise the production of custom hose assemblies, ensuring adherence to quality standards, correct specifications, and compliance with safety protocols
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations, documenting incidents and promoting accountability in freight movement processes
- Team Development and Coaching: Train and mentor staff, enhancing their skills in materials handling, customer service, and operational effectiveness
- Operational Support for Service Teams: Manage the inbound/outbound inventory to facilitate timely part delivery, improving service efficiency
- Performance Management: Set clear expectations, monitor progress, and drive accountability within the team to meet company objectives and enhance overall branch success

**Skills and Experience**:

- Education & Certification: Completion of Year 12 or equivalent, plus leadership/management courses, including project management disciplines such as Six Sigma
- Minimum of 2 years in parts interpreting and hose manufacturing, ensuring technical proficiency and industry expertise
- Strong experience in data analysis, utilizing multiple computer systems, including interpreting CAT systems and tracking orders effectively.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, coupled with conflict resolution and high-level problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to multitask in high-pressure environments with excellent time management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- Experience in a supervisory role, exposure to parts and supply chain management, and understanding of equipment in mining, construction, or automotive industries
