**Position Information**:
Manly Vale Public School is a newly built and rapidly growing school in a bushland setting. It is located on Sydney's Northern beaches right next to Manly Dam and currently has 594 students, with the capacity to accommodate up to 1000 students. The newly built school has flexible learning specs and supports collaborative teaching and learning environments. The school has 1;1 device ratio (including laptops and ipads) in all classrooms. Differentiated learning is provided in all lessons with the support of an active Learning and Support team and a Higher Order Thinking team of teachers. Positive well-being and inclusion programs are embedded in all classrooms and programs. There is a strong focus on science, environmental studies, and sports programs.

1. An approachable leader who demonstrates an ability to visibly lead stage-based and whole-school initiatives developing strong, authentic relationships with all stakeholders.

2. Highly visible and collaborative leader with proven excellence in enhancing student well-being and inclusion, as well as enhancing positive partnerships within the school and wider community.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5.
