**About The Position**

Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance, you will be Responsible for the electrical safety on the site and meeting all regulatory and internal obligations.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- To provide on the job training and guidance.
- To offer effective coaching and mentoring (staff & apprentices).
- Team building of skilled leadership staff in the Electrical Maintenance area.
- Maintain the safe and efficient operation of all plant, equipment, and buildings on site.
- To ensure that teams operate safely and providing a safe, secure work environment.
- Development of personal growth opportunities.
- Improve and increase our service to production.
- To increase current skill level with the rise in production requirements.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with contractors.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with critical spare parts list.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with ordering maintenance requirements.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with Electrical Preventative Maintenance requirements.
- Electrical Leading hand will be required to fill The Perth Mint (East Perth) Electrical Nominee role.
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns using advanced problem-solving techniques and conduct repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure that electrical equipment or installations are installed and tested in accordance with MSIR and electrical standards.
- Certify all installation work is carried out and tested to Australian standards.

**About You**
- Current WA A-Grade Electrical license.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial, industrial and domestic electrical installation techniques and conversant with WA. Electrical Requirements.
- Site Nominee (Desirable).
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
