Leading Hand Electrical Commissioning Technician - Isolation Authority Posted: 29/08/2025Closing Date: 28/09/2025Job Type: CasualLocation: Perth OfficeJob Category: Oil & GasPowertech Resourcing is a multidisciplinary commissioning organisation providing services to the energy and resources sectors throughout Australia.Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently accepting applications for a Leading Hand Electrical Commissioning Technician with Isolation Authority experience to join our client's team in the Oil and Gas industry.Details:Role: Leading Hand Electrical Commissioning TechnicianResponsibilities: Performing isolation verifications, implementation, and hands-on electrical commissioning works as required.Roster: 2x1 (travel in on first day & out on last day of swing)POH: Perth, with flights covered from any capital city in AustraliaMain responsibilities include but are not limited to:Performing isolation verifications and implementationGeneral function testingProtection relaysSIS/ICS, inputs and outputs to MCC cubicles, inter-trip signals between LV and LV circuit breakersBattery autonomy record sheetsLighting circuits record sheetsSwitchgear operation and switchingVoltage and frequency controlActive and reactive load sharing between microgrid systems (PV and BESS)BESS management (charging and discharging rates)Experience, skills, and qualifications:WA - Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A-Grade)Cert III or IV InstrumentationCPR / LVR certificatesHV Switching CertificateThis is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and work with a well-established team of industry professionals.Powertech is an equal opportunity employer, supporting diversity in the workplace.If you believe you have the necessary skills and experience, please click "APPLY NOW" to submit your application today.
