As independent contractors, support workers may often be left feeling isolated or overwhelmed as they navigate an ever changing industry. The VGSS team also handles a number of administrative and organisational tasks for you to ensure that you can focus your time and energy on supporting your clients.

**We believe in facilitating meaningful and long-term connections. We have found that participants often get stuck in a ‘revolving door of support’, where a person-centered approach to support cannot truly be achieved. We aim to connect independent support workers and NDIS participants based on who they both are as an individual, creating the opportunity for a genuine connection.**

**This is an independent contractor position that requires you to have your own ABN, insurance, police check, reliable transport, blue card, yellow card and NDIS worker screening check. At VGSS, we require the independent contractors we work with to hold double vaccination status.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- No weekends
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Application Question(s):

- How many hours per week are you looking for?
- Do you have experience using google calendars, chat programs and a basic understanding of computer systems? Our support team is 100% virtual so you will be required to be competent in these areas for them to assist your business.
- In this position you will be required to take care of your own superannuation and tax. Have you had experience doing self employed contract work under your own ABN before?
- What relevant experience do you have to help you excel in this role?
- Please advise what your hourly base rate expectation is for this position. This is an independent contracting role you you will need to advise your rate to us.

Note: The answer we are looking for is a standard Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm hourly pay rate. From there any nights, sleepovers and weekends will have the rate scaled up.
