Dog Walker

Brisbane Dog Walkers is looking for another dog walking contractor. The best applicant is someone who is self motivated and okay with hours equivalent to a part-time position. This job is perfect for those who are looking to supplement another job or work around a university schedule.

This role will be approximately average 25 hours per week to start. You should be a motivated and highly organised animal lover that has a vehicle to travel to clients (do not need to transport dogs)

Base pay is $30 per 1 hour walk. It will require you to drive to clients around Brisbane.

Your duties will include:

- Walking in hot weather
- Driving to clients (you must have a vehicle)
- Working independently with no supervision
- Walking up to 2 dogs at a time, for 1-hour
- Contacting clients to arrange walks, schedule walks and maintain relationships
- Tracking all walks with Strava (smart phone app)
- Completing a small 'walk report' after each walk
- Quick meet and greets (pay for this is $15)
- Sometimes walking in light rain (no thunderstorms)
- Traveling to clients all over Brisbane

To be eligible you must:

- Have or be willing to get an ABN number (it's free)
- Be able to walk extra large dogs
- Have a drivers licence and vehicle to reach clients
- Have access to phone / data to send reports after walks
- Physically fit and able to do multiple walks in a day
- Have availability all weekdays

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
