Shared Services are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
In this role, you will administer payroll for allocated agencies and parishes, ensuring timely service and compliance with all requirements. You will work closely with People and Culture to ensure staff appointments are accurately recorded within the payroll system and help prepare internal reports that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience/Criteria
- Demonstrated comprehensive working knowledge and experience of payroll processing, working with a range of awards and agreements (Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role).
- Strong customer service ethic and total focus on servicing payroll customers (both employees and management).
- Ability to use initiative, maintain confidentiality, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a high volume work area.
- Demonstrated level of experience with MS Office Suite - including MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, including effective telephone manner.
- Demonstrated administrative ability, organisational skills, effective time management, and ability to work independently and in a team based environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
