**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a Data Entry Officer with master data / data cleansing experience to join their team in Parramatta with the flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 8-week temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend
Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to analyse, review and update information to ensure integrity & accuracy of data to meet organisational deadlines and objectives
In this exciting role, you will be undertaking the following duties
- Working off an excel spreadsheet, gathering and collating data
- Manual identification of duplicate records across multiple lists/spreadsheets
- Search for building addresses in google maps, filtering through multiple excel files to identify duplicates or typographical errors
- Removing duplicate records and data errors
- Input and verification of data into excel spreadsheets
- Manage and maintain master spreadsheet in logical ordering
- Generate data reports from Government agencies
- Disperse and issue surveys to Government agencies
- Request for data from Government agencies, amalgamating into the master spreadsheet
- Review and categorise Government agency information
- Identify low risk agencies to contact, read off a script provided, recording responses, escalating complex matters to management
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Inbox management, categorising correspondence
- Assist on ad-hoc projects as required
- Follow and comply with Departmental user guide / manual processes
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Demonstrated Master Data or Data Cleansing experience
- Public Sector experience preferred
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite especially Excel and Google Maps
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting and tight deadlines
- Logical thinker with solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Resilient with the ability to work autonomously
- Reliable internet access to be able to work remotely
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
