**Purpose of the role**:
The Maintenance Scheduler is required to manage the scheduling of corrective and preventative maintenance activity on TrendPac facilities, site services and manufacturing assets, using the TrendPac CMMS (Mex), to ensure the ongoing reliability and longevity of our assets. The role takes a proactive approach to work with Facilities and Site Services, Engineering Support and Engineering Innovation and Optimisation teams to ensure new assets have appropriate maintenance schedules defined in the CMMS (Mex).

**Duties**:

- Management of scheduled activity related to manufacturing, site and facility assets
- Review and assign work requests as they come into Mex, scheduling activity where required
- Coordinate with production scheduling to create allocated windows for maintenance activities to be performed
- Identify opportunities to leverage planned production downtime changes to expedite planned activity and adjust schedules accordingly
- Enter work details into the CMMS (Mex) that comes back from maintenance staff.
- Provide reporting on scheduling activity
- Assist in maintaining CMMS(Mex) master data
- Coordinate with contractors for servicing and shutdown works
- Coordinate with Maintenance Stores to ensure parts are available for planned maintenance

**You will possess**:

- Demonstrated experience in managing scheduling activity using a CMMS
- Sound negotiation skills to work with production planning to ensure maintenance schedules are met
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of different people both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to manage several priorities at any one time without losing focus;
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills with a focus on attention to detail;
- A desire for continuous personal development
- sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook);
- sound knowledge of MEX (or other CMMS);
- Past trades experience preferred
- Past experience with high-speed filling and packaging equipment is preferred
