**Your new role**
- Prepare communication products such as media releases, social media content and internal messaging products
- Develop public information strategies to support strategic, policy and operational objectives
- Coordinate press conferences and support spokesperson during media interviews
- Identify speaking opportunities to support strategic objectives and develop speech outlines
- Contribute to strategic communication, crisis communication and branch planning activities
- Participate in the Department’s 24-hour on-call media roster
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Thrive from working in a fast-paced environment
- Media experience and experience in speaking to journalist
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
