Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Public Affairs Specialist to play a key role in shaping our relationships with landowners, local communities, and key stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment, working closely with internal teams and external partners. As a Public Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a variety of engagement activities from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising community and stakeholder engagement events
  • Liaising with landowners for property access
  • Preparing communications materials and managing public notifications
  • Keeping stakeholders informed about upcoming works and activities
  • Maintaining stakeholder databases and tracking tools
  • Responding to enquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and empathy

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in a dynamic, stakeholder-focused environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Hands-on experience in community engagement, ideally within telecommunications or infrastructure
  • Confidence working in politically or socially sensitive settings
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • A valid Class C Driver's Licence
  • Willingness to travel as needed
