Overseas employees, coordinates activities, and upholds depot standards. Promotes a high level of productivity and monitors work for accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Facilitates the smooth flow of goods into and out of the depot.

**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Supervising 15 plus employees within a chiller/freezer environment dealing with produce, chilled and frozen products
- Supervises daily unloading of containers.
- Supervises Freezer/Chiller storage including picking & putting away pallets. (high reach push back racking)
- Schedules and supervises daily activities of reporting employees
- Observes paperwork to determine that procedures are followed.
- Provides training, encouragement, advice, and feedback to reporting employees.
- Monitors reporting employee’s productivity, safety, and ensure smooth flow of trucks / goods
- Sets and releases dock restraints and dock plates. Opens, closes, locks, and unlocks roll-up bay doors and trailer doors.
- Verifies discrepancies between goods ordered and received. Keeps records, checks temperature and seals the outbound loads.
- Checks facility safety, security, cleanliness and battery recharging
- Supervising 10 plus employees within a chiller/freezer environment dealing with produce, chilled and frozen products
- Experienced in decision making in a fast paced business environment
- Must be physically fit
- Warehousing experience preferred
- Must be able to work on split shifts / rotating roster / Saturdays
- Chiller/Cold Storage Distribution experience is an advantage. Chiller/Freezer temperature work required

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery_**
- Forklift, EPJ, Computer, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio.

**Non-Essential functions**
- Assists in other departments where necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have Forklift Licence
- Knowledge/Skills: Intermediate MS word and Excel skills. Knowledge of WH&S in everyday occupational situations
- Other Skills and Abilities: Previous experience in supervisory roles. Ability to multi-task.
