Kemps Creek, Australia Costco AU Full time

*** Operates and maintains power equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move and prepare goods in/out of chiller/freezer area in the depot. Pick packing/sorting of goods.

**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Operates clamp, slip-sheet, or fork sit-down lift truck.
- Unload containers and use clamp to breakdown the pallets.
- Operates electric pallet jack to move pallets of received merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot.
- Wrapping and unwrapping the pallets.
- Follows proper receiving and general safety and security procedures and standards
- General upkeep of depot and grounds
- Other duties as directed
- Must be able to work in split shift / rotating roster / Saturdays
- Chiller/Cold storage distribution experience is an advantage.Chiller/Freezer/Ambient temperature work required.
- Must be versatile and keen to work in both DRY & WET and in different departments as per business needs

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery:_**
- Computer, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio.

**Non-Essential functions**
- Assists in other departments where necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have Forklift Licence
- Knowledge/Skills: Basic computer skills
- Other Skills and Abilities: Chiller/Cold Storage experience is an advantage
