Position Overview:
The Field Operations Supervisor’s responsibilities include performing installation, maintenance, and supervisory activities for Redflex’s Intelligent Traffic Systems in the field and being a mentor and providing leadership to the Field Operations team members. Provides leadership and direction to all employees and subcontractors engaged in the repair, maintenance, and/or installation of field equipment, to ensure the completion of all maintenance works in accordance with contractual requirements and client expectations.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Schedules and dispatches all technicians for planned and emergency service work, including scheduled maintenance, warranty and start-up work.
- Creation and management of rosters for on-call, night and weekend works.
- Assist Projects team with Installation and commissioning of Redflex’s systems.
- Remedial Maintenance of Redflex’s systems.
- Provides the benchmark for maintenance activity execution that the team should aim to replicate.
- Handles technical enquiries from Field Technicians, Remote Operations and Admin. Where unable to personally resolve, routes questions and problems of a technical nature appropriately.
- Assist Admin to engage and co-ordinate contractors, plant & equipment hire.
- Liaise with Admin to book vehicle servicing as is required.
- Approvals of direct reports expense claims ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Provide technical/maintenance guidance to assist Projects to quote on works.
- Conducts site technical and/or safety audits.
- Expedites all parts orders for Field Technicians and end-user customers; ensures adequate spare parts levels are maintained.
- Communicates effectively with internal customers (Admin) regarding scheduling, progress and follow-up.
- Performance Management of direct reports.

Qualifications:

- Degree in a business or technology field or equivalent experience desired.
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card), Traffic Management, Working at Heights & EWP accreditations (Yellow Card).
- Relevant field experience or leadership of field-based workers.
- National Police Clearance (or regional equivalent).
- Valid Driver Licence.
