We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning & Development Advisor to join our team at a Council in Melbourne's east.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and support the development and delivery of effective leadership programs and organisational capability development initiatives
- Ensure compliance and foundation training requirements are met
- Develop and deliver the annual corporate learning program
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on learning and development opportunities
- Manage relationships with external training providers and stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of learning and development trends, tools, and techniques
**Key Requirements**:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or related field
- Experience in coordinating and supporting the development and delivery of effective leadership programs and organisational capability development initiatives
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience in compliance and foundation training
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in the use of learning management systems and e-learning platforms
