**About the Role**:
As the Commercial Manager - Retirement Living, you will be the primary commercial advisor and finance business partner to the Retirement Living General Manager and stream leadership team. Your strategic counsel and oversight will enhance the commercial effectiveness of our operations, ensuring financial and commercial outcomes are achieved. You will leverage your strong analytical background and deep understanding of Retirement Living operations to deliver insights on the business stream’s performance.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Provide commercial advice and business support to the Retirement Living General Manager and stream leadership team.
- Deliver accurate, meaningful, and insightful reporting of key financial and operational metrics and KPIs.
- Lead the annual budget, Capex, and rolling forecast process.
- Review and assist with commercial contracts and documentation.
- Develop and implement revenue strategies for Retirement Living.
- Utilise data-driven insights to drive financial performance and identify opportunities and risks.
- Lead financial analysis and due diligence for merger and acquisition opportunities.
- Provide guidance and assistance to Retirement Living managers on financial matters.
**About You**:
To be considered, you will have:
- Degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial analyst/management role, preferably in the retirement living/property sector.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with proven experience in using data and insights to support decision-making.
- Advanced skills in communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge in commercial contract negotiations.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau are highly advantageous.
- Valid Driver’s Licence and commitment to travel including interstate.
