**The Service**

The service is a Community, Not For Profit service that is an inclusive, nature based service catering for children aged 6 months to 5YO. They provide a language-enriched play-based program to support the holistic development of every child. They value diversity, equity and sustainable environmental practices as well as encouraging children to be active participants in their own learning.

The team recognises the importance of providing a rich nurturing environment that empowers children to become confident, involved and independent learners. The service values meaningful partnerships with families, which are paramount in creating an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes a sense of belonging for all.

**The opportunity**

The Director of the service is a senior leadership role within the service. They are responsible for managing the daily operations of the service and leading a team to ensure exceptional pedagogy, professional practice, team empowerment and ensure the service runs smoothly.

As the Director, you will be responsible for staff management, fostering professional relationships with families and the local community, and delivering a high calibre learning program.

The Director works in collaboration with the Committee, Admin and Assistant Director and alongside a longstanding team of highly qualified and dedicated educators.

You will be a Diploma qualified professional with ideally 3+ years’ experience in leadership who possesses strong knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS & Child Safe Standards. As well as extensive experience in managing community based or not-for-profit services as well as previous experience with financial systems and managing budgets
