About the Role
As the Head of Department (Curriculum), you will lead the strategic direction of curriculum development in alignment with school and departmental initiatives. You will contribute to delivering the vision of the State Schools Division, driving improvements in the quality of teaching and learning. In this role, you will also foster positive and collaborative relationships among students, staff, and key stakeholders to support a culture of engagement and academic excellence.
This is a temporary, part-time role, working 20 hours per fortnight at 0.40 FTE for a period of 15 weeks, unless otherwise determined.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department (Curriculum), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Support the Principal in leading whole school curriculum and student engagement initiatives.
Provide inidivualised support for teachers in the areas of curriculum planning and providing reasonable adjustment for students.
Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
