Due to growth and opportunity in our Learning & Development team, WesTrac is seeking two **Instructional Designers **based out of our Institute in South Guildford, WA. Directly reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the Instructional Designers are accountable for the transformation of learning at the WesTrac through learning innovations, with an emphasis on instructional design, quality, and digital technologies to enhance the employees learning journey and meet the WesTrac’s Objects and strategic direction as a Caterpillar dealership.

These opportunities are being offered as two-year fixed term contracts.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Degree or tertiary qualifications in Instructional Design, Training & Assessment, Technical Writing, Content Development (Desirable)
- 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role e.g., developing learning resources (software simulation/screencasts, video-based learning, technical webinars, virtual classrooms, e-learning courses, instructor-led courses or even QRG articles and technical user guides).
- Skills in online learning development and associated technologies (e.g., SCORM; Learning Management Systems, Articulate 360 - Rise and Storyline)
- Experience in an end-to-end instructional design role that included storyboarding and implementation
- Ability to communicate effectively with Subject Matter Experts to ensure delivery of projects adheres to expectations and agreed timeframes.
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
- Initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills / Excellent skills in Microsoft word. Excel, and PowerPoint
- The ability to work with branding guidelines and templates
