**Job Information**:
Glitch Productions is looking for a highly organised and passionate community and social media manager to oversee the company’s growing community and social media presence. In this role, you will be working closely with the executive, marketing, memberships, and production teams to deliver entertaining and fulfilling rewards to our channel members, and cultivating our dedicated fanbase.
This role will involve working for both the SMG4 and Glitch Productions brands, which in turn involves our animated series like Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus. Your passion for indie animation and internet culture will be the key that shines through and acts as the connection between the company and our viewers, and upholds the brand and vision of the company.
**Your duties will include**:
- Maintaining and coordinating our presences across social media platforms such as Twitter, Reddit, Youtube Community, Tiktok, Instagram, and Discord, including the creation and scheduling of social media posts that uphold the company’s brand and public voice. This will include adjusting public posting across the company’s different IPs, ranging from: young and meme-y; industry focused statements; and ironic comedy.
- Distribution and scheduling of all digital content.
- Maintain good relations between the company and its fanbase by engaging with audience members on social media and moderating intra-community disputes.
- Assisting the memberships manager in the ideation, production, and release of membership rewards to provide value to members and subscribers.
- Managing communication across multiple relevant stakeholders including the executive team, department leads, brand managers, and series creators.
- The creation of analytic reports on the results of social media campaigns and the creation of plans based on the data created.
- Expertise in the usage and culture of various social media platforms such as Twitter, Reddit, Youtube Community, Tiktok, Instagram, and Discord.
- An in-depth knowledge of social media trends and demographics, particularly in the Gen Z to Millenial demographic range.
- A passion for animation, gaming, anime, and internet humour.
- Excellent communication skills and creative writing capabilities, with a particular focus on an ability to match the voice and brand of the company.
- An organised mindset and an ability to coordinate large amounts of dates, deadlines, and tasks quickly.
- An ability to adapt quickly to the constantly-changing internet culture.
- Experience with scheduling and organisation tools like Asana and Hootsuite.
- Self-sufficiency and strong time management skills.
**Bonus Skills**
- Experience with Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and Premiere or similar editing software.
- Existing familiarity with Glitch Productions and/or SMG4’s fanbase and content.
- Experience in organising live events and conventions, whether in-person or digital.
- Experience running a livestream, including usage of streaming software like OBS.
