**Café Manager - Lead, Innovate, and Inspire at Retroespresso 36-40 hours per week**

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Elevate the **customer experience**, ensuring top-tier service and a welcoming atmosphere.
- **Lead and support our incredible team**—hire, train, and guide staff to be their best.
- **Oversee operations** at both locations, managing scheduling, rostering, and shift coverage.
- **Promote Retroespresso** through engaging marketing efforts, including social media.
- Step in as a **hands-on barista**, ensuring quality coffee and food preparation alongside your team.
- Maintain **compliance with food safety standards** and uphold high cleanliness levels.
- Manage inventory, liaise with vendors, and ensure stock levels meet demand.
- **Host regular team meetings** to inspire collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Act as a **designated food safety supervisor** and ensure industry standards are met.
- **Evaluate and refresh food and beverage offerings** at both locations, keeping them aligned with customer preferences and industry trends.
- Take on additional duties as needed to drive business success.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven **leadership experience** in a café, coffee bar, or hospitality setting.
- Strong barista skills and **hands-on knowledge** of food preparation and service.
- A **customer-first mindset** with the ability to create memorable experiences.
- **Exceptional management and interpersonal skills**, with a passion for teamwork.
- Marketing savvy, particularly in **social media promotion** and business growth strategies.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
- Strong **stock control and organizational capabilities** to keep operations running smoothly.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Must hold **at least a temporary residence visa** and be authorised to work in Australia (no short-term holiday visas).
- Experience in **food and beverage service, team management, and café operations**.
- Background in **social media marketing and business development**.
- A proactive approach to **innovation and improving menu offerings**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: From $67,320.00 per year
