Yard Manager

Berwick City is looking for a motivated, organised and detail-oriented Yard Manager to join their dynamic team located in Hallam.

As an Automotive Yard Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of our yards across multiple sites, ensuring that all vehicles are stored, organised, and processed efficiently. You will manage inventory, maintain safety standards, and ensure smooth daily operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the automotive yard, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of vehicles.
- Develop and maintain efficient inventory management systems to track vehicle and parts stock.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the yard.
- Coordinate with other departments (sales, logistics, parts etc.) to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor yard operations and implement process improvements to increase productivity and organisation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in yard management, automotive industry, or related field.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, vehicles, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Holds a current Victorian Drivers Licence for manual vehicles
- MC Truck License highly desirable but not essential
