**About the role**:

As a **Dispatch & Warehouse Operator**, you will play a vital role in managing inventory and logistics, ensuring the precise handling, storage, and distribution of our LED lighting products. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing dispatch operations to uphold quality standards and meet customer expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Handle all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring goods are organised, dispatched accurately, and delivered on time.
- Coordinate dispatch operations, optimising routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and dispatch software to track shipments, update inventory, and generate reports.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, discrepancies, or shortages, working with procurement to resolve issues.
- Transfer parts and materials from warehouse storage to the production floor to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records, inventory logs, and shipping documentation.
- Properly document, label, and store goods for easy access, both locally and internationally.
- Organise stock efficiently to maximise space and improve retrieval times.
- Keep the warehouse and exterior yard clean and organised for a safe working environment.
- Perform or coordinate routine maintenance on warehouse tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Follow and enforce workplace safety procedures in compliance with regulations.
- Assist with unloading containers and updating inventory as needed.
- Work closely with warehouse, production, and dispatch teams to meet operational goals.
- Use computer systems for data entry, inventory tracking, and communication with logistics partners and customers.
- Identify and suggest improvements to enhance warehouse and dispatch efficiency.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- VCE or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
- Must have a current LF forklift license.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent computer literacy and basic knowledge of the transport and logistics industry.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with focus, including folding, taping, packing boxes, and wrapping and strapping pallets.
- Capability to lift 15-18kg periodically throughout the shift.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional presentation and fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to effectively communicate via phone with transport providers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Adaptability to handle high workloads during peak periods.
