As our Asset Optimisation Manager, you will be the go-to for providing systems engineering expertise to guide the implementation, evolution, and improvement of the Logistic Support Analysis Environment Program. Your knowledge and experience will ensure the LHD Assets capability and sustainability are achieved.

You will work with a supportive team from Garden Island, Sydney

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Proactively seek to understand Babcock’s strategic intent and direction, statutory and business requirements, and evolving customer needs.
- Work in a team environment and under limited supervision to lead and coordinate:

- Build and nurture collaborative relationships with the Babcock staff, LHD Enterprise staff and OEMs.
- Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and mentorship to the Asset Optimisation team and junior staff.
- Provide professional advice and technical recommendations as Subject Matter Expert to the LHD Enterprise.
- Liaise with the Logistics Support Analysis Environment (LSAe) Consortia to support the seamless implementation of the LSAe program.
- Assist the Asset Performance and Optimisation Manager to evolve and improve the Asset Management capability and capacity within the LHD Asset Class Prime Contractor Support Contract; and
- Actively contribute to and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

**About you**

You are engineering degree qualified and have a passion for leading teams. With solid industry experience in a systems engineering role, and proven skill in the support or development of Logistics Support and Analysis artefacts.

You are eligible for membership of the Asset Management Council as well as Engineers Australia and have a strong working knowledge of Defence engineering, maintenance and financial policies and procedures.

You hold an active AGSVA Baseline clearance.
