Job Title: Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team for our Furniture Warehouse. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, including receiving, storing, picking and packing goods, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving goods and checking for damages and discrepancies
- Sorting, labeling and storing products in their designated areas
- Preparing orders for shipment by picking, packing and labeling products
- Deliveries to customers as required (Must have a valid Drivers License - MR a greater advantage)
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintaining inventory and conducting regular stock checks
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
- Previous Delivery driving experience an advantage
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with inventory management systems

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.97 - $36.98 per hour

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
