
Program Support Officer

We are working with a State Government Department to find a Program Support Officer specialising in Procurement. In this role, you will provide efficient and effective operational support to the North Coast Region. As part of the Procurement Team your role will be focussed on key operational functions and provide administrative support to the Procurement Team. This role is initially a 2 year contract, with a 12 month extension option.
**Capabilities**:
- Use of Microsoft Office (Including Teams and Excel)
- SharePoint
- SAP
- Proven communication and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn will be highly regarded.
**Duties**:
Provide efficient and effective administrative procurement support to the Procurement Team by undertaking activities associated with:
- Obtaining applicable approvals, creating and maintaining procurement documents in line with relevant record keeping practices
- Assisting with preparing contract and tender documentation, and other material in accordance with relevant procurement processes.
- Assist with conducting sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet business needs.
- Maintain and update procurement records and generate reports on procurement and contract activity to meet organisational compliance requirements and provide access to procurement information.
