Carepro Disability Services is a rapidly growing registered NDIS Service Provider with offices based in Melbourne and Perth. Our company has been supporting the disability sector since 2017 and we believe that exceptional customer service starts with employees who love what they do.

**About The Role**:

- Consistent shifts that offer stability and the chance to have a real impact
- All shifts have a minimum engagement of 4 hours
- Various types of shifts available such as; In Home (daily living assistance), Community (Community access & engagement support) shifts within school hours and weekend shifts - something for everyone's availability

**About You**:
You are an exceptional communicator who is enthusiastic, innovative and positive about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. You have experience with the following:

- Personal care - Assist with showering and personal hygiene
- Community participation - shopping/attending appointments and assisting participants with social engagement in the broader community
- Experience working with Mental Health NDIS participants
- Household and domestic duties - cleaning and cooking
- Supporting healthy routines and skill's development
- Identify and support the physical, emotional and relational needs of participants
- Experience with manual handling
- Manage complex and challenging behaviors and be able to implement PBSP strategies when needed
- Keep accurate and complete records of activities via progress notes
- Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct

**Support Worker must have the following**:

- Car and valid Australian driver's license
- Vehicle insurance policy
- Well spoken and written fluent English
- Must have or have recently applied for NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have completed NDIS Orientation Module
- Highly recommended to have Cert IV Disability or other relevant qualifications but not essential
- Must have at least 6 months experience
- Previous experience working with Mental Health Clients highly regarded
