About the role

Sitting at the intersection of data engineering and business analytics, this role bridges the gap by transforming raw data into structured, accessible, and reliable formats that drive decision-making. As a Data Analyst in the Customer Insights team, you’ll focus on building data pipelines, cataloging, purging outdated information, and structuring data for optimal use, while maintaining a deep understanding of its business context. By enabling seamless data workflows and connecting technical processes with strategic needs, you’ll play a critical role in empowering teams to derive meaningful insights and enhance customer outcomes.

Day-to-day, you will:
Manipulate, transform, and analyse large datasets to uncover key insights and opportunities.-
- Build and maintain data pipelines and models to ensure optimal access to customer data.-
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on data-driven decision-making.-
- Present insights and recommendations to influence strategic business decisions.-
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability through robust quality assurance processes.-
- Streamline data workflows and propose enhancements for greater efficiency.-
- Develop tools and techniques to improve reporting and analysis capabilities.-
- Support customer data integration across various platforms and systems.This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or business information degree.-
- Proven experience in a data-focused role, with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.-
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets and relational databases.-
- Familiarity with tools such as Dataiku or DataIQ similar ETL platforms is advantageous.-
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to derive actionable insights.-
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly and effectively.-
- Experience with data modelling, pipeline development, and analytical tools.-
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.-
