Southern Independent Schools (SIS) is an association of schools that provides opportunities for students to come together in the spirit of goodwill, collaboration and healthy competition. Our programs are designed to positively contribute to the holistic schooling experience of every student who participates.

**Role**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily operations of the Association and its sporting programs under the direction of the SIS Principals.
- Oversee the ongoing development, operations, and compliance of the Association.
- Drive the strategic direction of the SIS program as determined by the Principals.
- Ensure regular developments and improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
- Align program initiatives with the vision, mission, values, and goals of the SIS.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated passion, commitment, support, and respect for the SIS’s vision, mission, values, goals, policies, and procedures.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Highly developed decision-making skills and the ability to think strategically, creatively, analytically, and problem-solve.
- Proven skill in identifying and implementing significant improvement and change.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a similar position.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact effectively across all stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of current educational practices related to quality sport education.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).

**Position Details**: The SIS Executive Officer position is a full-time, ongoing role requiring flexible working hours. The administration for this position will be on a work-from-home basis, with flexibility to work and travel outside regular hours.
