Your role is about helping us to translate business technology requirements into solutions - being a trusted advisor and evangelist for us - and the technology we support. We typically work with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs) as well as Government / Enterprise clients. We are Enterprise Networking specialists, looking for someone who loves client engagement, with technical aptitude and a proven ability to deliver success.

Technical Account Managers (TAMs) at NetVault combine their deep technical skills and experience with IT systems with a desire to provide genuine customer service and deliver pre-sales consulting. It's a perfect role for anyone looking for variety, challenges and career progression as you'll be taking responsibility for the solutions NetVault is delivering to multiple end clients and channel partners.

The TAM will work with the rest of the service desk team, field techs and engineering team to help service, maintain and grow the accounts they manage. You will build relationships with client accounts, vendors, as well as the rest of the NetVault team.

**Skills and requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical support or account management in the IT and telecommunications industry
- Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and telecommunications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven client first focus and attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional business image about presentation and demeanour
- Experience with Cisco and Fortinet solutions would be highly regarded
- Have the ability to work autonomously as well as integrate into a high-performance team
- You have IT Account Management experience, and have a passion for technology
- Effective multi-tasking, prioritisation and logical problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience with using and maintaining CRM systems - Zoho CRM Preferred

**Technical Account Manager Duties**
- Maintain an existing portfolio of channel partners and client, providing a single point of contact for sales, quotes and general questions.
- Liase with the NetVault technical support team to raise any technical enquiries a client may have that are beyond your skillset.
- Grow the revenue and Gross Profit of your portfolio while delivering excellent value to NetVault clients.
- Travel to data centres, conferences and training functions around Australia, to meet face to face with channel partners and clients. (An estimated 3-4 times per year).
- Prepare quotes, bill comparisons and other related sales materials for current and potential clients and channel partners
- Update internal sales databases with prospective clients, prospective channel partners and prospective implementation partners.
- Prospect new clients and channel partners for inclusion within the channel partner network
- Complete the sales cycle with new and existing NetVault clients from start to finish

**General / Team Duties**
- Go the extra mile to give fantastic service to awesome clients and channel partners
- Other general office sales administrative tasks as directed
