**The Organisation**:
Our client is a world leader in education, linking people with real-world industry connections and technology for a better world. This department helps foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for people living with a disability, medical or, mental health condition by providing support services to students in vocational education and undergraduate to postgraduate study.

**The Role**:
The role of EAW is to provide unobtrusive support to students and assist with their learning goals while facilitating independence and self-determination. Shifts range from supporting students one on one to providing support for a group of up to four students. The EAW assists in the delivery of quality customer service to students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support by taking notes during lectures, classes, or tutorials
- Support students to use online learning platforms and access content
- Provide academic assistance by breaking down tasks and explaining new concepts
- Work with individual students to implement strategies and improve the quality of service
- General administration within online learning platforms

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of clientele
- High level of written communication skills (Spelling and grammar)
- Own laptop required for notetaking in classes
- Software proficiency with MS Teams, Zoom, Word, Excel
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Triple Covid-19 Vaccination

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum: Cert III/IV Disability, Individual Support, Educational Support, Teacher's aide
- Mental Health First Aid Training - preferred
