**The Organisation**:
Our client is Australia's largest specialist centre for foods, tourism, hospitality and events education and training. This department helps foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for people living with a disability, medical or, mental health condition by providing support services to students in vocational education and undergraduate to postgraduate study.

**The Role**:
The role of EAW is to provide a person-centred support to students to suit their individual needs. Shifts range from providing support to students one on one to being a floating support to students in a practical-based class. The Access & Disability Service aims to empower students to work towards achieving success in their studies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support by taking notes during classes and tutorials
- Support students to use online learning platforms and access content
- Provide academic assistance by breaking down tasks and explaining new concepts
- Liaise with staff to improve service to the student

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of clientele
- High level of written communication skills (Typing, Spelling and grammar)
- Own laptop or tablet for note-taking in classes
- Current Working with Children's Check and Police Check Required
