**Supervisor Roles & Responsibilities**

A supervisor in a café is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the café and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. Their specific duties may include:

- Managing and motivating café staff, including scheduling, training and performance evaluations
- Providing guidance and training to café employees as needed
- Ensuring that café staff are adhering to established policies and procedures
- Monitoring and evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching
- Assisting in the development and implementation of café goals and objectives
- Communicating regularly with management to keep them informed of café issues and progress
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure they meet established standards and guidelines
- Supervising the café's daily operations, including customer service, food preparation, and cleanin
- Participating in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and terminations as necessary
- Assisting in customer service and addressing customer complaints or concerns
- Assisting in the management of any café equipment and facilities, ensuring that they are in good working order
- Providing support to the café manager / assistant manager and stepping in as needed in their absence.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $50,331.38 - $55,000.00 per year
