A loving family in Paddington, QLD are seeking a nurturing and patient nanny to care for their children 1 day per week (4 and 1 yr old girls). The family will also welcome a new baby from October.
**The days and normal hours are - 1 day - 8 hours per week**
Saturday 8am - 4pm
More hours may become available in the future
An ideal nanny will be nurturing and kind. A nanny that is calm, organised and patient. Able to follow and support the children’s routine, plan and engage age appropriate activities that will assist in the children’s development.
The role will consist of helping the Mum get the girls ready in the morning, taking out for a morning activity and assisting with routines, meal prep and the smooth running of the household. Mum will pop out on errands and to appointments throughout the day.
The family is looking for a nanny that can build a special bond with their children and stay on a long term basis.
**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Take children on outings to parks/playground, activities etc
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the children’s development
- Able to help with basic meal prep/cooking
- Light household duties ie clearing/tidying throughout the day
**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience
- Childcare qualification (Preferred not essential)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Current Blue Card
- Display strong communication skills and speak English -To speak a second language of French would be ideal(Not essential)
- Ability to cook/prepare basic nutritious family meals
- Non Smoker
- Up to date with all Vaccinations
- Full drivers license and clean driving record (preferred)
