About the Opportunity
OPS is currently sourcing a suitably qualified Boilermaker to join our team and support our operations in mobile screening & crushing equipment, where you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art workshop in Bibra Lake. The majority of your work will be fabrication of parts and repairs for track mounted and stationary crushers, screens, conveyors, shredders, chippers, grinders, washing equipment and other like processing and handling equipment. Hourly rates between $44.00 and $48.00.
You core daily duties will include interpretation of engineering drawings for fabrication of parts, cut, shape, bend and fabrication of metals for parts for designated equipment and complete welding activities ensuring parts are positioned correctly for quality weld points on equipment.
About You
To be successful for this role, you must have the following:
Full unrestricted ‘C’ Class Driver’s License - HR desirable
Certificate III in Heavy Fabrication or equivalent
Strong welding experience, including Flux Core, Tig and Stick welding
A minimum 2+ years post training experience, with experience with heavy industrial mobile plant, mineral processing or bulk materials handling equipment
Current Forklift Licence
Overhead Crane Licence
Be physical capable of performing manual tasks
Pro-active and self-motivated
Have a strong personal belief in the importance of safety
Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
