**Skilled Meat Worker**

Personnel Placement Specialist Limited is now recruiting experienced full time Skilled Meat Worker to join our growing team.

**About the business**

This Client is a reputable wholesaler of pre-packed and vacuum-packed beef and veal.

It is one of Victoria’s finest meat wholesalers and it services an extensive client base throughout Australia. Due to company’s success and rapid growth, we are now recruiting experienced and dedicated full time Skilled Meat Workers to join our team at their new processing facility in Coolaroo Northern suburbs.

**About the role**

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Trim carcasses.
- Operation of equipment and machinery to saw, split, or scribe carcasses into smaller portions to facilitate handling.
- Remove bone, washes, trims, and cuts meat into standard cuts to prepare for packing.
- Maintain high hygiene standards throughout all processes.
- Production work on process line.
- Maintaining high hygiene standards throughout all processes.
- Follow all OH&S procedures and policies.

**Skills and experience**

Previous experience in a similar role in beef / retail ready operations.

Cold Boning / Slicing Beef Quarters

Demonstrable safe working skills

Ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive environment.

Have a desire to produce product to a high standard.

Reliable, committed, punctual, willing to learn, and have a positive attitude.

**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coolaroo, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Beef Boning or Slicing: 1 year (required)
