An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced **Knife Hand/Trimmer/Scalers **to join our Processing Team in **Coolaroo **on a full time employment basis.

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Working with freshly caught fish of various kinds
- Skinning, Pin boning, Portioning fillets
- Safe food handling practices
- Assisting the filleting and processing team with various other duties
- Working within cold temperature environments
- Dayshift hours starting at 5:00am Monday to Friday, possible OT

**Essential Requirements**:

- **Ability to work in a wet cold environment with seafood and/or meat**
- Previous demonstrated **experience in Knife Hand / Timmer / Scaler**
- Attention to detail in a high pressure environment
- Assisting the filleting and processing team with various other duties
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Available to start work immediately

**Position available for an immediate start and to qualify, all applicants MUST**:

- Be reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Have flexible hands-on work attitude and a good level of physical fitness

Successful applicants will need to provide a minimum of 2 current references, a current Police Clearance Certificate, and attend a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol testing.

**Salary**: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coolaroo, VIC 3048: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Filleting: 3 years (preferred)
- knife hand: 3 years (preferred)
- scalling: 1 year (preferred)
- meat cutting: 1 year (preferred)
