Edmen Community are currently recruiting a Program Support Worker on behalf of our community service partner, Infinity Community Solutions Ltd.

Infinity Community Solutions Ltd (ICS) is a growing boutique organization dedicated to positively impacting individuals' lives. ICS Child Protection Residential Intervention Services focus on attachment-centered care within a trauma-informed therapeutic environment. We employ a diverse multi-disciplinary team to collaborate on identifying and addressing therapeutic needs for children, young people, and their families, facilitating a smooth transition to family-based care settings.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or similar
- South Australian P2 (or higher) drivers license
- SA Working with Children Check
- Possess or be willing to obtain a "Suitable" Statement of Psychological Suitability
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology/Human Services, or related discipline).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Service Sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering education or learning opportunities for adults.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in working with children and families, particularly in assisting with the assessment, planning processes and support around the management of children withdifficult behaviours
- An understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and societies and the issues which impact upon them in contemporary society together with a commitment to culturally appropriate engagement and practice.
- Demonstrated intermediate ability to use computer IT systems including MS Word and Excel
- Vaccination against whooping cough may be required if working with relevant client group.
- Cert IV Training and Assessment (desirable but not required)
- Train the Trainer qualifications in key relevant courses including but not limited to: Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, CALM Training, Youth Mental Health First Aid (desirable but not required)

**About the Position**
The Program Support Worker is responsible for providing learning, training and support to staff and contractors across the therapeutic residential care services and clinical services to residential and outreach children and young people in Statutory Out of Home Care - clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, individual and group work. This includes development and review of clinical plans (therapeutic support plans, positive behaviour support plans), clinical assessments, case management tasks, critical incident management, mentoring for direct care staff, stakeholder engagement and afterhours on-Call support. **Responsibilities**
The key responsibilities of the Program Support Worker are but are not limited to:

- Deliver key organizational training programs to ICS staff and contractors in group, individual, or online modalities. With support, develop learning packages based on identified needs related to children and young people with complex support needs.
- Review, update, and develop Therapeutic Plans and Behavior Support Plans for children and young people in residential care.
- Undertake assessments and key case management tasks for children and young people in residential care.
- Review and manage critical incident management for children and young people.
- Participate in stakeholder forums related to child or young person plans.
- Perform psychological assessments for children and young people in residential care.
- Facilitate team meetings and mentor staff in delivering care to children and young people.
- Assist clients in achieving goals outlined in relevant planning documentation.
- Collaborate with line manager to identify client needs and deliver appropriate services within available resources.
- Encourage and support children/young people in activities promoting wellbeing, relationships, and resilience.
- Identify and connect children and young people with culturally appropriate resources in their local community.
