Full time position, based at the Loddon Care Hub in Bendigo
The Care Hub supports those entering care arrangements for the first time
**Your role**:
Leading therapeutic practice at the Care Hub based in Bendigo. The Therapeutic Specialist primarily assists the team providing assessment and support to children, young people and their families providing family therapy interventions and training for clinical staff working with children and young people experiencing impacts of trauma.
**Positions objectives**:
To promote ability of children and young people to recover from the effects of abuse, family violence, trauma and loss.
To resource Care Hub staff and others to provide nurturing, therapeutic, reparative care for children and young people who present with complex needs using a trauma framework.
**What are we looking for**:
Experience developing intervention plans and mentoring and coaching staff in therapeutic responses
Experience with trauma/mental health of children and young people
Experience facilitating reflective practice and clinical supervisions for staff
Experience providing secondary consults and training for clinical staff working with children and young people experiencing impacts of trauma
**Qualifications**:
A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, and/or a related degree in behavioural sciences
**The important stuff**:
A salary of $118,263 plus super plus salary packaging
Based at Bendigo
