**About the role**

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Technical Assistant to join our Maitland Plumbing section on a full time, permanent basis.

Technical Assistants are responsible for providing timely, efficient support to the learning and teaching section, actively contributing to the successful operation of their trades section by providing high levels of customer service and support to internal and external clients. Key tasks in this role include the design, development and production of teaching aids, day-to-day operational and classroom support to teachers, and organising the availability and maintenance of teaching tools and equipment.

**About You**

We are looking for a self-motivated, disciplined individual who has the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:

- Certificate III Plumbing (minimum / related) and / or relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to service, clean, repair and safely operate workshop machinery
- Demonstrated customer service, organisational skills and ability to work as a member of a team with mínimal supervision
- Possession or willingness to obtain the following licences:

- Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence
- First Aid Certificate
