Workskil Australia is excited to announce we will be part of the new Parent Pathways Program across Australia
We are the nation’s largest not-for-profit employment services provider, and for over 40 years, we’ve helped individuals find work and achieve sustained financial and social self-reliance. The Parent Pathways Program is a free pre-employment program that helps parents and guardians of young children to build skills and confidence and prepare for the workforce.
Starting a family is a special and rewarding time, but a lot of parents find themselves in a position at one point or another needing to get back into the workforce, whether it be for financial reasons, or to step into a new career to find professional independence again.
The program aims to address any challenges or concerns within the parent’s immediate family to enable them to focus on the future and identify areas of interest and set career goals. Further support with building skills and gaining qualifications is also be provided.
Services are tailored to meet parents’ needs and support them in overcoming personal barriers and become ready to find work or enter further education when the time is right.
