Amazon is seeking for Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Technicians to join the maintenance team at our fast paced Fulfillment Center (FC) in Moorebank for Night Shift.

Please note that the current shift pattern includes 10 hour shifts x4 nights per week with one working day from the weekend per week.

**Purpose of the Job**:
The focus of the Maintenance Technician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out, including Lock-out Tag-out.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site e.g. Conveyors, PLCs, Book Producing machinery.
- Carry out building maintenance activities e.g. install bollards, repair doors.
- Log all work in CMMS System.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
- Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
- Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.

- Experience in high production, manufacturing environments and sortation machines,
- Experience in maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
