**We're seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for a permanent role.**

This is a permanent role working between 3-4 days per week in a busy and modern Orthodontic practice on the Lower North Shore.

**The Role**
- A busy chairside role working with the Orthodontist to provide services to both adult and paediatric patients
- Ensure that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilised before each use
- Take dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customised mouthguards and retainers
- Remove and replace wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare

**The Requirements**
- Previous experience working as a chairside assistant
- Orthodontic experience highly regarded however happy to train
- Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Comfortable working 3 longer days; 8.30am-6/7pm

**The Benefits**
